66. Regarding using one’s will power to curb one’s desire, there are two ways of killing desire and attending desireless: ONE that is generally followed by common folk is to fulfill the desire and get situated. THE OTHER is to create in the Mind indifference to desire by means of Reasoning and self control. Self control would require an effort of one’s will power. The mind is like a restive colt and loves to go where it is forbidden to go. Like a colt, if should be restrained by degrees and not all at once; otherwise it will breaks the restraining chains and fly in the prohibited direction with force.

The master said that one should give up all animal food and alcoholic drink before one is fit to tread the Path which leads to control of mind and desirelessness.

67. You should not think of breathing or paying any heed to it while you are doing SIMRAM, just as you do not think of breathing when you are reading a book. Breathing goes on automatically and requires no attention.

68. A part from the question of taking life egg whether fertile or infertile are exciting food, and for personal who engage in spiritual work, non exciting food is necessary.

69. When you have been able to vacate the body, the disturbing element would be remove and you will be able to get full advantage from sound current, the test of complete concentration is that you should have no consciousness of the body and should be super conscious within.

There is this Important difference: in dream we are the THROAT CENTER, but in Brajan we vacate the body by concentration at the eye center, Love, faith and perseverance is to key to success.

70. As you Know, MEDITATION IS ENTIRELY MENTAL PROCESS, AND POSTURES IN TRADIIONAL YOGA POSITIONS are only aids and not absolutely necessary prerequisites. If bodily infirmity or weakness constantly draws the attention to the lower limbs, it is decidedly better to adopt an easier position and to keep the attention concentrated at the eye center.

71. As your mind learns to remain concentrated at the eye center, this vision may be had at will. However you should not stop here but go on still further so that you may always swim in his love and peace.
